Norcross have embraced the technological revolution and have invested
in the latest, state of the art digital computer to plate (CTP) print
systems and presses
enabling us to achieve those “impossible” deadlines.
We have also developed an integrated e-procurement system in real-time
with customised inventory access, products to view online and coded cost
centre allocation.

Using a web browser, client staff with the correct authorisation can
log in, check stock levels and place orders via an online catalogue of
approved stock items (with accompanying visuals to cut down on incorrect
orders). The order process is highly auditable and all purchases are allocated
to the relevant cost centers – meaning any budget overruns can be
easily identified and addressed. Staff can also be assigned a specific
budget – and the system can be set up to not allow spends beyond
preset budgets.
In accounting terms the solution can either be integrated near real-time
into a company’s General Ledger, or accounting staff can simply
log in at the end of each month and download a transaction record as an
Excel file.
